I have a 97 nissan pathfinder. everything was fine, then driving down the road and the car died. I o
popped the hood and was so angry I shook AND juggled the battery. and guess what it started. this happen about a week laTER and once more after that. then it didnt work again!!!!. we are getting fuel pressure, chaecked for spark from spark plugs. I looked to maKE SIRE ALL CONNECGTIONS ARE TIGHT. I cant help bugt believe that me shaking ther battery had something to do witj it. we also nreplace distributeor cap. anmy help would be great. the car cranks but wont start. please help. I ndont have much money to take it to a mechanic thank you
Could be a bad battery cable. Those things are prone to corrosion over time. I had something similar happen to my car a few years ago. I replaced it, and the car started cranking just fine.
Only other thing I could think of would be a bad alternator, possibly. You could find a mechanic to check it out with a computer diagnostic tool. Often times they won't charge for that -- might help in figuring out what the problem is.

Driving down the road you see a young child and you swerve to avoid killing the kid butthere is an oncoming Mac Truck on the left and a telephone pole on the right curb. Hitting the truck - probably get killed instantly, hitting the telephone probably be crippled for the rest of your life....

Years ago I was taking a walk and a red pickup truck drove down my road. The guy in the truck slowed down and just watched me, in a way like he was interested. He never talked to me or anything and just drove off. I only saw him for like a minute that one time and didn't see him in town again....

What should be the punishment for distracted driving, i.e, texting while driving?Can you revoke the license of people who are doing these, for how long? Perhaps they could just attend seminar about safe driving or jail time is needed even if there is no casualty? What do you think is a fair...
