How to correct Massey Ferguson 245 Tractor power steering repair issues?
Purchased MF 245 w power steering pump removed and opening covered. Replaced pump and made all connections and filled. I have a full 360% play in steering wheel. Have bled lines and re-bled lines and re-bled lines. I researched and performed linkage adjustment on power steering on steering column. All lines are clear. I am suffering for a solution as I have completely re-painted and have ALL other aspects functioning. This has been a 6 month process with this last issue still unresolved.
If your MF has an orbit motor the problem may not be in the power steering pump. Check the condition of the orbit motor and steering cylinder (which is likely located in the forward portion of steering linkage).
