You would have listened a lot of jokes from your friends, colleagues and even from your family members. Have you observed how they tell jokes?

Telling jokes is a technique, and an art too. If you like to tell jokes, you should study about how to tell a joke. Here are some tips which will help you when you are going to tell a joke.

A very first thing you should remember is that the people judge you on what you speak and what type of jokes you tell. So never tell Dirty Jokes. Some substandard people like to tell and hear jokes made on sexual parts of human body: male and female. Some people like to make jokes on sexual activities. You should avoid telling such type of jokes.

Another type of Jokes to avoid are the jokes on handicapped people. Telling jokes on physical disabilities is just a cruelty and it gives bad impression of yours on the people..

Many people like to tell jokes which target 'other people' such as people of other religions, other nations, other linguistic groups, members of other political parties and most important: other gender! Telling such type of jokes shows a hate and jealousy about others, and also the ego of the joke teller.

Do not laugh while telling a joke. Instead, you should tell jokes seriously. Laugh only after the listeners start to laugh. You will enjoy this method of telling jokes..

You should not tell lot of jokes. Limit yourself to one or two jokes. Telling many jokes may establish your identity as a 'Joker'.

Then What Type of Jokes you should tell?

* All jokes should be family friendly. Always tell jokes which your family members would like to listen. Always tell a joke that can be published in family magazines.

* The jokes should not be insulting.

* You may make jokes on others, but such jokes should not hurt them
