   No. I always think that all my decisions were made because I think it is good for me and the people around. If something went wrong along the way I will always consider it as a good experience. When I make a mistake in making a decision I don't regret it I learn from it and will not do it again.

   Decided to study for teaching, taught for a while but was misplaced in a secondary school & given the worst class, despite being primary trained!  Gave up having totally lost confidence in myself, became a secretary for years and enjoyed it, then returned to teaching when my life skills meant I could actually do it well.  The decision to specialise in dyslexia was the best one I made and gave me 15 happy years teaching dyslexic students.  So I regret some posts but not my original training and subsequent specialisations.

   Yes, being more of a counselor type of person, I should have known not to take on an HR director job. That is not really the position from which to operate like a counselor.

   I wish I started writing sooner.  It's something I didn't take up until I was in my 30s.  I also wish I had a clearer idea of what I was doing in college. It's so tough to make decisions that will impact the rest of your life when you are a confused 18 year old.

   I love the career I chose and still use it to this day, but with the computer taking over peoples' jobs, it has somewhat became obsolete. I know I speak for other people in others career too. I wanted to be a lawyer and never did it. I now regret that because I have  a great respect for justice, and know there are a lot of people who need genuine help and not just a lawyer that is trying to get their money.

   No. Each job I've had has helped me learn and adjust to new possibilities and challenged my intelligence (emotionally, physically, and cognitively).

   I should probably answer my own question....duh! Most of you have already answered for me...I have no regrets.  The things I have done were necessary in order for me to be who I am and I love who I am.  To regret any of it would take away validity from a life that I consider to be valuable and loving and fulfilling.

   I not only have no regrets in terms of career decisions, I have NO regrets, period. In my opinion, to have regrets, is feeling so negatively about something, that you would wish to GO BACK and "side-step" that portion of your life entirely.
   Without every single moment of my HISTORY, as it occured & why it occured, I would not be ME... I could not have evolved into the person I was truly meant to be, from the moment of conception.
   When we mess up, providing we acknowledge responsibility, we learn, we grow and most importantly, become BETTER.  This applies as well, to those misfortunes we encounter along life's highway that befall us without our compliance.......those, WERE NOT MEANT TO BE AVOIDED but dealt with and conquered.
   My belief?  Do NOT regret....only embrace, improve, remember and GO FORWARD.
   Just in case anyone hasn't noticed?  Each tiny moment is another beginning.

    I have a 4 year degree in business management and when looking for a job they are asking for specific degrees not general degrees. I can't even get into a business position let alone a management position. I am in federal service and it seems that experience is chosen over education. It is a difficult road to make a change now.

    I planned to enjoy an independent life. Writing has given me the opportunity to earn good money without sacrificing my personal life. I can spend lots of time with my family and enjoy social life to the fullest. So I think I have made the right career choice.
