Should we take responsibility now, and all work together to secure the strength of our nation?
If Americans truly want to be strong economically, why is it essential that we make changes and move in a positive direction in our own congress of the United States?
Frankly, I think it is too late. I believe that the US no longer has the cultural glue of respectful communications or the political will to make good choices as a nation. To put it another way, too much politics and almost no useful governance, for a couple of decades now.
We can still improve the nation. But I think the best approach is to work as individuals, companies, and communities to do well for ourselves, our loved ones, and our associates. If this works over time - and I'm thinking decades, at least - then maybe a national renewal will become possible.
