Is it just me or have anyone else noticed a lot of new banks are being constructed now adays?
Not new. Just remodeling with new signs because of the takeovers of one chain by another. E.g., a lot of new Chase Bank branches in Southern California because they took over some other bank.
BTW, if a company is "too big to fail", it is too big - period - and should be allowed to fail.
