How to move a company to SOX compliance?
Get the hand on the FRAMEWORK of SOX like the Testings which will be necessary and see how your Organisation fits into it.
SOX is mostly based on Processes and Procedural Rules, therefore it is important to find out what needs to be changed in your Operations Processes.
As an Example for Accounting you will probably need a Closing Schedule, which shows all Tasks involved in a Month-End/Year-End-Closing. Usually these Schedules and the Tasks have to be signed by the responsible employees and supervisors.
If you business is part of a bigger company group, ask your headoffice to provide information about SOX.
Hope this helps.
