Can I collect benefits while getting started in a new real estate career?
1. The laws vary somewhat from state to state.
2. The answer would probably depend on how much you earned while starting a new career in real estate.
3. You would be obligated to report any earnings.
4. If you had few or little earnings you would probably be eligible for benefits.
5. If you are currently employed and you quit your job to work selling real estate you would not be eligible for benefits.
