I was recently laidoff and I own a company that is not showing a profit, can I collect unemployment
Some states allow for displaced workers who have a small business but isn't making a profit to collect unemployment benefits. To know for sure if you are eligible for unemployment benefits, you will have to check with your state government because the laws varies and are governed on a state level.
Hopes this helps!
