Something useful, something entertaining or something so bizarre that people go Eh?!! and share it anyway!
Of course luck plays a large part.
A video is definitely something funny, or real catchy. By catchy i mean it could be a song that just sticks in your head, or the dialogue from the video that you could just use all the time in real life. Such as the video "would you look at that?" I don't know how many times after I say look at this, where i quote that video. although i don't think that video is totally viral quite yet.
