Why do Americans put up with the lie that is the Federal Reserve Bank?
The Federal Reserve is a private bank, why do you allow it to dictate the state of your economy? Don't you realise they create all this turmoil through which they profit even more while the average American sinks ever further into poverty!
Time you actually started to question what is going on and why your representatives in Congress are too scared to challenge them.
The reasons why people still allow the fed to go about it's business, are not really all the logical. I've been protesting against the Fed for sometime now and here are the two biggest reasons I hear why people don't do anything about it:
1. It's just the way it is.
This is probably the stupidest reason, and yet the most common one I hear. People don't want to do anything about the Fed, because they are used to it being there and don't want to fight it.
2. They believe the fed is good.
I have heard from lots of people who believe that without the fed we would have a crazy free fall economy with no control. So basically, these people would rather give up their freedom to have some security (which they don't get anyways)
3. They don't feel they can make any difference
This is another really common excuse. Once you bat away the other two, people don't think they can do anything about the Fed, even if they do believe the fed is destroying our economy and freedoms. Apparently, that's a good enough reason for them not to do anything about the fed at all...
Because many think because the name "federal" they are government.

It's all so simple, really, and a wicked man stated long, long ago that it never mattered who a king was - so long as he controlled the currency - he was lord and master.http://auditthefedphonebomb.com/bailout … rillion-2/

Why is the Federal Reserve allowed pretend to be part of our government? It's a private bank! The world bankers have used the Federal Reserve to facilitate the downfall of the U.S. I like the analogy that says the Fed is about as federal as FedEx. It sucks, but our presidents and...

What do you think of this? Do you agree? what should the Fed fund rate be?My personal opinion is that the rate has been kept too low for too long. We need to raise the rate back up to about 3 or 4 percent in line with traditional rates...

This guy is or was high up in the Fed. The fed is a PRIVATE bank, despite the lie on their website. The fed is owned by private stock and the US government owns none of that private stock. http://www.frbatlanta.org/publica/eco-r … hriszt.pdf

With 12-month treasury bond rates at 0% -- that's right, zero percent -- and the 30 year treasury bond rate at 4.3% it means it is a great time to borrow. It Does not mean the Government has to spend the money, just borrow it now when it is at the lowest rates ever. Who are these treasury bond...
