Writing Hubpages about the topic in general that is still quality and unique content is a great way to show your authority in the industry and build links to specific sites that you have. The hubpage however must stand on its own merit and be of good quality and provide the community an article that is worth reading rather than just a short hub designed purely for the link to promote your business.
