I don't like the idea of working for the government at all, but if I felt it were something worthwhile I might.
I have known many people in the state department that have served this country with a great deal of integrity and honor. I think our embassies are our best diplomatic tool in forgein countries and I would be proud to work as an Ambassador or a diplomat in another country for the United States of America because I would be representing my country. Government isn't bad but full of idealism. And Idealism can be a good thing in government when used for good purposes. Sadly, greed has gotten in the way of good in this country lately.
State Departmnet is usually above such lowly behaviors as greed and they are truly service minded people. It is a great organization of you are willing ot provide a service to your country.
