Hubpages has been the best place I've found for writing, but I haven't tried any of the sites that pay you right away.
Selling a product will make you more money and faster if you can find a good wholesale source and sell the right product. This will take a little research.
I'll be following this question to find more ways to make money myself.
Sell things on ebay. The rest is an incredible amount of work for little to no pay off.
Affiliate marketing is a good way to make money online if you are reasonably good at writing. I find it enjoyable and - in spite of what Jarn says - a satisfying way to make money wigthout spending too much time on it.
