There are many programs online to make money, such as MLM, Direct Marketing, bloggin, article writing etc, but out of all the programs I think affiliate marketing is the best and most straight forward method to earn money. What do you think? If you have an opinion about any other method you think is the best please let us know.
Affiliate marketing is hands down the best way to make money on the internet. As affiliate marketers, we are building a bridge between the customers and the producers. Engineering that bridge is the easy part, but getting people to use your bridge is where we meet the challenge!
I totally agree about affiliate marketing being the best way to make money. I have lost so much money on BS programs, but once I started affiliate marketing, I really started doing well. Check the links on my hub to my website, where I started putting together some resources on making money online.

Hi DeAnna: Since I'll be unemployed in a few months, what advice can you share on how to start my own hubpage? DVega
Affiliate Marketing is the best and easy way of earning money through affiliate programs. But we have to take the top and successful affiliate products before to start marketing!!
Article writing is also good if you learn to put it on Google first rank..
Can some help me out on how to get my hub monitized?
Affiliate Marketing is my choice.
I absolutely cant stand MLM
I detest direct marketing but yet I love affiliate marketing and I do well with it.
If you dont fall into all the traps and stay consistant you can do well with affiliate marketing
MLM can be absolutely horrible, but if it is a product that you will actually use and enjoy using, without destroying your own wallet, then marketing it should come easily and naturally. If not, at least you enjoy the product.
Hi Dale: Based on your experience, what traps do you refer to?
Well, do you have any tips for me on how to get traffics to my website cause I am an affiliate marketer too. thanks
I've had some minor success with affiliate marketing
the private companies pay more than the ones on here, though
the premise of marketing is IMO, based on direct sales in one market or in the marketplace -as a kiosk. The Kiosk concept reminds me of affiliate or indirect marketing.
I do training for marketing and often wonder what attracts people to the kiosk and if they are a catalyst for the mini-markets in the big mall, so to speak.
MLMs remind me of cults. Affiliate marketing is fine, as long as you do it ethically. But for me, putting AdSense on original content is the way to go.
Selling your own product online is the best I have found.
I do like affiliate marketing, but for real income, I'm for marketing my own product online without allowing affiliate sales and running my own advertising campaigns.
I may consider allowing affiliate sales on my second product, after release to my subscribers list first of course.
If a anyone can sell their own product online this is the way to go. I've been trying to come up with a product for some time I know the time and effort that I can put behind my own product would be better and profitable for me I'll just have to keep trying.
I am new to the internet marketing world but find affiliate marketing a great way to start off. Just matter of getting a good product or two and advertising it right.
In the future I would love to have my own products to sell but think that is a long way off.
Or does anyone know of how to create a product that is simple enough for a newbie to do?
i've had a small amount of success with affiliate marketing, although I've been focusing on developing other ways to deliver my services online recently and the day job got in the way for a while.
I read your article-good stuff.
I think the key to marketing is to find a good platform to build from.
If you have to implement too many different programs to create a campaign from you (well, I) can get too frazzled.
I like my business programs to more one-stop-shopping type.
Keep up the good work,
Affiliate marketing, or, selling own products, or, selling advertising spaces like Adsense...you should know one technique to become successful- traffic generation.
If you want to be successful with affiliate marketing you need to get a lot of traffic. And if you can bring that amount of traffic to your affiliate site which can really make you successful then you better sell your own products and make many more profit than with affiliate products.
Affiliate marketing becomes a good way of making money if you don't know how to create your own products.
Have you considered vlogging through YouTube? YouTube now lets you create channels and partner will them to share ad revenue. There are some seriously successful vloggers out there and if you've ever wanted to break into the video market, that's definitely the way to do it.
hi, i have a website netmoneymaster(dot)net, which i created for
purpose of doing affiliate marketing. it certainly can be done. however it takes an exisiting web site getting alot of traffic, or a lot of behind the scenes work. but yes you can make money with affiliate marketing if you "drive" it home!
Personally I feel the best way is to create your own product like an ebook, and then you have many ways of getting it sold like through click bank or something. I dont like to type thats the only reason im not doing this. but it does put you in ther drivers seat.
I heard that affiliate marketing is a very good way to make money online, but I am still stuck at writing articles which I believe to be a source of income for people like me who is more interested in writing articles
...structuring a good PLAN is the way to go...
i become to learn that MLM, Affiliate or any kind of business depends on how much "targeted traffic" it can get.
the secret is to get the RIGHT costumers to Your door...
Right on! MLM in theory is to give you leverage off of other people's efforts, so that you make money with less of your efforts.
In reality in mlm, when you're building a downline, it's going to take a lot of building till you find the right people who are serious about building the business with you. MLM and Network marketing is just a different side of affiliate marketing. You don't own the company and you don't own the products.
Network marketing coupled with regular affiliate marketing is a very powerful thing and is the only reason I'm making the kind money I'm making.
I love the flexibility of affiliate marketing. You make money promoting other people's products but at the same time you don't deal with the customer service issues.
Yes, I make 80% of my money off affiliate sales. I make 50% per sale. No I'm not going to share who they are, sorry.
However I am trying to make much more with adsense. Or at least make 40% of my sales from that. You should never rely on any one thing.
I know many who built websites for particular sponsors, made all their money from them. Now those sponsors are folding, taking their money and running. Leaving the affiliates to start over from scratch.
ALWAYS diversify, nothing last long on the net. In a few years the net will be so, so different. You have to keep changing. So keep as many different $$ avenues as you can, even if it's all from the net.
I agree Bill, no safety without diversity on the net.
Yeah it's getting downright scary how fast everything is changing on the net. Right now anything that sells well on mobile devices is a good bet for a while.
Soon major cities will have much faster download speeds. So we should be thinking of what to get into that will be the best for that, what will grow the most with faster speeds.
That is well considered Bill. I have fast bb now. Not sure how to use the speed to advantage yet though!
As you stated, mobile device services do look strong at this time.
Yea the internet is changing everyday. I went through a little scare not to long ago when my state was voting on imposing an internet tax. And companies that had affiliates in Virginia would be bound under this new law. So as you can see there was a lot of talk about dumping any affiliates that lived in a state that imposed this new tax... Luckily it blew over... for now
I've honestly never tried anything but affiliate marketing, so I've nothing to compare to......
There are countless ways to earn some form of income on the internet.
e-Stores, either your own or someone elses, think Amazon aStore and Online Malls
Direct Marketing of chosen or one's own product
Buying goods and then selling through eBay
Article and Freelance writing
Website 'flipping' (buy a web site for one price and sell it at a higher price, usually within a short time frame)
Yet the broadest appeal, with the most likely lowest entry point is affiliate marketing.
It seems to me that pay-per-click is even easier.
If you mean for someone (please correct me if I am incorrect) to use a product like Adwords to promote their website ( with using my above examples ) its not a good start for a person new to internet marketing.
The cost can blow out considerably if one is not sure how it works and it can get PROHIBITIVELY expensive.
I agree, if you don't know what your doing PPC can be very very costly and you could be throwing your money down the drain
I know because I have!
Internet Marketing is definitely a great way to make money online. To truly succeed though, its very important to supply beneficial content to the reader. I like to keep my internet marketing well rounded, I use Twitter, facebook, because they drive traffic to my articles and that definitely has a significant influence on the size of your paycheck.
There are many forms of affilliate marketing and as many ways to implement them.
As Kanga pointed out, there are many other ways to make money online too, some of them can be spectacular earners, but almost all are high risk.
I say spread yourself across several methods so that you don't dump most of your income when something happens beyond your control in one market.
In an ever changing environment this is prudent in business online or off.
PPC is fantastic! But only when you are as good at it as someone like Perry Marshall is!
I have good success with one affiliate marketing site. It's great and I've made money without even trying.
affiliate marketing is a stable way to earn money online. I prefer CPA mode to run this business.
I agree Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money online. As with every online endeavor, keyword research is the crucial thing. Finding those words or phrases which have low competition and high traffic. Then go chase them
Affiliate marketing is without a doubt the most profitable form of making money online, it also requires more effort and determination than say data entry or paid surveys. I guess it all depends on how much effort the person is willing to put into their online money making ventures
I agree. I do a combination of affiliate marketing and running my own services for other marketers. They both seem to be about equal in how well they make money. However, time investment, the affiliate marketing is easier.
If I didn't love doing my services so much I would probably drop them. they take a lot of time and work to market them and keep them running, but the journey is awesome.
I guess when it comes to affiliate marketing its a two sides coin.
Firstly, I am not a salesperson, so how can I sell a product which I know is profitable, I find someone who has the product and knows how to sell it and I recieve the commision.
Yay, that's good.
But as most people are saying here and on the web. Selling your own product or having affiliates sell yours is where the money lies.
Usually you will make a good commision from products on clickbank, up to 70% which means you are making more than the owner. But the owner can then make more money on the back end which is where I believe the money is and what makes affiliate marketing great.
although I agree with you to a point Jackson, many product owners I know are making their money on the back end by marketing affiate products. Many of them give away such high commissions because the real reason behind owning their products is to build a list of buyers.
but, they are still making most of their money as affiliates, they just found a way to target their customers better.
can somebody help me with this i want to be an affiliate earner myself...
Sheila if you are serious about making affiliate income then you must follow the following steps.
1. Find a product that sells
2. Set up a WordPress blog and write informative posts about topic relevant to your affiliate product (pre-selling). Add useful and relevant content to your blog daily or at-least 3 times a week.
3. Create hubs and lenses and point them towards your blog (link building).
4. Use free methods to build traffic (traffic exchange, classified ads, article writing, blog and forum commenting etc).
Yes, I absolutely agree!
Affiliate marketing is great and flexible way of making money online.
Especially it's valuable for mothers who wants to spend more time at home with her kids.
I love modern time!
Affiliate marketing can be a great way to market online, but the biggest mistake that most affiliates make is that they have no clue on how to implement the marketing in the affiliate, hahaha.
To succeed online, you must:
1) Brand yourself as the expert
2)Provide the solution to why 97% are failing
3) Provide a system for them to implement to cure their failures
You must make sure you do these things, otherwise you will fail everytime in affiliate marketing. This type of marketing CAN be a great way to earn extra income, but just make sure you do 1-3.

for now am concentrating on adsense, as a way to make money but , i have been planning to start an affiliate markeing site as i have heard that its very profitable.
Affiliate Marketing is a great way to earn home business income, but as more and more people jump on the affiliate bandwagon, the competition becomes more challenging and as with any form of business or marketing, it will be those who adapt to the current trends who stand to gain from the experience.
Yes affiliate marketing is best ever then adsense . and clickbank is the best affiliate company .
Affiliate marketing is definitely the easiest and quickest to learn. It can be frustrating at times unless you have some good sources of information to follow so you can skip the learning curve.
I'm new to all this, do the affiliate programs that you can buy for like $49.99 really work? I understand you need to work and put time into them, I don't expect a get rich quick thing. I'd be happy if I could make an extra $500-$1500 a month. Is that asking too much? What am I looking for in up front costs? Do I work for myself or for someone else? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm just trying to figure these things out.
From my point of view....affiliate marketing is the oldest and most popular way to earn money online but now a day it has become one of the most competitive way to earn money online.....required lots of hard work.
Affiliate marketing is the best way to make money on the internet. Having an online business is one of the best new ways to earn extra cash every month.

Affiliate marketing is a great way to earn. but you always have to be smart about what you going to connect yourself to.

I Have Made Great Money with Affiliate marketing and selling health products i have made $30,000 so far,
Affiliate marketing is the easiest entry point for the new comer to the industry, one tip to follow, do not do affiliate marketing from your main website. When you do this you are saying to your potential clients that there is nothing of value on your homepage so you are sending them to someone else. Use a one page website or capture page to do all your affilate marketing from.
I totally agree, affiliate marketing is the best especially if you are new to marketing online. what better way to cut the risk than selling other people's products??
I see a lot of people say affiliate marketing is the best way of earning money online....but for us people that havn't got a clue how about showing us or telling us in simple words how we go about it????
Affiliate marketting as a term covers different things. There are two main tyupes -
Affiliate marketing can be a site that has many product sellers on one side and many marketers advertising the products that they select from the site lists. The commission rate varies according to the profit margin in the porduct x the auction price of the advert. A mid selling product in numbers and price may not be such an attractive sale as a high volume sales product with a high price which can lower its commission rate and still get high numbers of people showing their advert.
Hubpages is an affiliate slaes setup at base, we are all HP little marketers and HP have just 4 suppliers, Google, Amazon, Kontera and ebay ( I think?) We pay HP a percentage, or we buy the platform space from HP, whichever way you like to think of it.
The other kind is directly affiliated to one supplier for their range of products - such as I describe in my single hub which is not hard to find : )
I've been in affiliate marketing for many years. You need to pick a legit company that has an easy sell. I've been killing it with celltradeusa's affiliate program since Verizon Wireless came out with the iphone. You get paid for getting people out of cell phone contracts... That's an easy sell...
So make sure you pick an affiliate program that pays good and actually has something people wan't.
Affiliate marketing is truly a great way to earn money indeed.
You speak about bloging and article marketing like it is the same category. You see bloging and article marketing are ways to drive trafic to your offers, whether it is your own product or product you promote as an affiliate. You can incorporate affiliate marketing with bloging or article marketing.
The best way to use traffic is to promote free products (anything from ebook, software, video, report etc) in form of landing page with sign up form. In that way you will gather email addressees from your subscribers. Then you can promote your affiliate offers again and again via simply email. I mean this is smart strategy when you look at long term benefits. It is something worth considering.
I quite agree, the best way to make money on line is through affiliate marketing, but the stumbling block has always being how to get converted traffic and people run away basically because of this, but those that persist and are determined are super affiliates. Article marketing helps affiliate marketer to get their products known to the world.
Affiliate Marketing is the easy way of earning money. For that we have to take the top and successful affiliate products then only we can start affiliate marketing. We earn money by adding members in our down-line.
