What action should I take when a client refuses to pay me for the articles I have written for him?
I had written about 60 articles for someone and he has accepted and published everything. Now he is not paying my due. Should I publish all the articles to free articles directories? I have requested him like thousand times. Will it be professional if I do what I states? I am so confused as I do not want to be the bad guy in any situation. But what to do if people do not respect my honesty?
Did you have a verbal agreement or a written agreement? What state you live in will determine what legal action you can take and it all will boil down to what kind of agreement you had. If it's a written agreement you may be able to take him to small claims court, where they will determine if he is liable which if he signed the written agreement he will be and I beleive he has to pay the court costs for himself and you. Check with the local / state legal system to see what your rights are. Good Luck!!
