In some ways, yes. I naturaly love being at home and by myself. I would feel more comfortable in my own environment. However when working at home you miss the connections you make with people face to face.
I worked from home for about ten years. I thrive on work, so I use the time well. I had meetings in coffee shops and restaurants, and a couple of times a week I went to the office for meetings.
I find that I am more productive at home because when I work around humans I like to engage them in conversation. At home I can talk to the dogs without breaking stride.
I would love to be able to telecommute. I have looked for opportunities, but haven't been able to find anything sustainable.
