After leaving your last job did you keep in contact with your coworkers?
After leaving your last job, did you keep in contact with your coworkers or did you lose those "friendships"?
If I have worked at a place for a long time, and have developed friendships, I do tend to keep them, although at a much smaller scale. Most of the time, I only see my coworkers at work. It is only if I have developed a relationship with them outside of work that I keep the friendships after I quit.
This outside of work friendships include being friends on Facebook, going out for drinks after work, dinners, potlucks, sending holiday cards, etc.
Only one of them. She is a good friend of mine and we got along well. The others I didn't feel to connect with.
I've kept in contact with a few people from my first job when I was 17. I was with the company for 2 years so I did develop friendships there. I don't hang out with them however, but I do live close by and stop by to see them every once in a while or message them on facebook occasionally.
