Do you think we will be talking to neighbors via chat? Are we becoming lazy and machine dependent.
Social Net working is spreading its wings in all the developing and under developed countries. Every body seems to be glued with the internet through mobiles, laptops and tablets. All are taking to advertising and get advertised through online media and social net works are the best suited for advertising and to get advertised. Are we becoming lazy and machine dependent.
I think that it has its advantages and disadvantages. We are now able to connect to people who we might not have had the chance to connect to without the use of computers, or at least computers make it easier. It can save time and gas concerning paying bills because you do not need stamps or need to drive to run as many errands. We are able to access information much quicker than before and have more information at hand.
But I also see where it makes us lazy. Especially kids because instead of going outside to play they are using gadgets to occupy their time. Instead of going to the neighbors house to sit and socialize it may be true that they are IMing on facebook or via text.
So I think that it has both advantages and disadvantages.
I don't feel that using machines to communicate is being lazy. It is simply an alternative to talking to someone face-to-face. It is so important to have these options because it is not always possible to talk to someone in person. Some people live too far away from others and rely on social networking and email to communicate. Other people have anxiety issues that prevent them from talking to others in person. Having the ability to talk to anyone in the world easily and quickly has so many possibilities for us! For example I'm a teacher in Sydney and my class uses email to correspond with a school in Texas. The kids get so much out of this.

Don't you think that food is becoming more expensive? Some eateries are constantly raising their prices, and yet the quantity of the food shrinks. There is no need for advertising promotions and whatnot. If advertising costs can be curtailed, then there would not be any need for raising prices....

Advertising on Twitter HeaderI asked this before but got few replies. So here goes again.May I put classified ads on my Twitter header image? Twitter never reply to member questions, so I can't get an answer from them. I don't want to lose my account if my ads somehow are in competition to theirs...
