Would you rather go to work early and be done with it, or go in later and stay there late?

I would much rather go in early and get home early. But, in my case it is go early and home late.

      Jeff,
I don't know how you find time for all of your involvement in Hub Pages. You must be a high achiever:-)

Early and done with it. It's depressing to drive home when it's dark and gives me more time to spend with my hubby. Maybe even time to cook dinner, which I always mess up...

I agree that coming home in the dark is bad. As for your cooking efforts, don't get down on yourself, I'm sure at least some dishes turn out well :-)

I am lucky enough to be able to work from my home office.  I try and work my typing schedule around my kids and husband with their sometimes crazy schedules, but I do have to get all of my phone work and follow up done during regular business hours.  Given a choice, I would have to go with the go in early and be done early whenever possible!

I work from my home studio/office and I know what you mean about working business around everything else that's going on in the house. I love working at home though. I feel I can do whatever I want when I want to do it.
      Thanks,
      Lisa

I was lucky enough to find employment quite some time ago that I truly enjoy. It also allows me the flexibility to set my own hours/schedule. However, I must be on campus for 20 hours/weekly for 9 months. Having said that I do enjoy going in later in the mourn; usually I arrive at the college around 11 A.M.. It allows me time to walk our dogs, have breakfast with my better-half, visit our hood's Starbucks, complete some choirs, complete our faith's Ministry to the Sick activities and send off our children (although that activity has significantly diminished as they are now in college). I am usually home by 4 P.M,. Keep in mind that i also pursue/complete research, speak at conferences (some are in other countries)...
