What is your favorite thing about your job?
Is there a skill that you use at your job that you love doing?
I renovate homes for a living and when i see the customer smile big time when they see the finished product, it makes me feel awesome. we take great care in what we do and the pride that comes from that is worth all the problems that can occur.
My favorite thing about my job is that my boss is in a completely different building, 25 miles away. So other than a visit three or four times a year, she's just a voice on the phone. It's nice to be able to do my work without anyone looking over my shoulder.
My job can be kind of boring. The best things are that it's clean and not physically demanding. I don't mind hard work or getting dirty, but it sure makes it nicer to spend eight hours a day not wearing myself out. It gives me time to think about topics for writing and I'm still fresh enough to write when I get home.
You ask the best questions! I think I'll just twist a few things around here, if you don't mind.....OK, I'm retired, but just because I don't have an "official job," doesn't mean I don't have special duties and responsibilities, as important as a JOB.
I care for 2 grandsons, during the week, after school.......pick them up from the school bus, help with homework and feed them dinner......sometimes, drive them to baseball and football practice and other "Granny Nanny" duties.
Do I REALLY have to tell you what my favorite thing is about this job?? LOL. Heck.....just ask ANY Grandma!!..............Peace!
As a teacher, I would have to say it is the ability to inspire learners and to see the student acquire skills. It is so rewarding to know that you have helped someone build their strengths, skills and outlook for a better life.
