What is your favorite thing about your city/town?
My city is surrounded by hills. Every morning on my drive to work I get to look out over our rivers and bridges as the sun rises, reflecting off the water and trees and houses below me.
What is your favorite memory or place to go or random observation about where you live?
The best thing about my town is its location. It's close to family and friends, close to a big city (and a few smaller ones) with all their cultural attractions--museums, zoos, sports arenas, concert halls, etc--and there are a few local community theatre groups I enjoy.
The town itself is kinda bland, but I'm not asking for a lot. I just want a safe place for my kids to grow up, and my town has that in spades. Like the saying goes: "It's a nice place to live, but I wouldn't want to visit here."
It would have to be the beautiful mountains. The sun rises over them in the morning and sets behind them in the evening. It is truly an awesome view each and every time I see it.
My city has a lot of good people. Just this morning, I saw an heartwarming act of kindness when a young boy helped an old woman she clearly don't know cross the street. These little acts of kindness really impress me. By the way, can't help the poor woman on my own since I have my mom and loads of groceries to deal with.haha
When I used to drive my kids to school, we turn on to the road to town and the sun on the mountains is just stunning.
But truthfully, I am not crazy about our town (the climate is horrible)- so my favorite thing about it is the fact that both my children, sons-in-law and grandchildren are here. That makes it a wonderful place to live.
I live in Michigan and the beaches, woods, and trails are all within 10 minutes from where I live. We also have an exciting nightlife you can drive to in about 30 minutes.
I like crowded downtown area at any part of the day and love the cafe gardens in the spring or fall. And that great thing that you can find food you like almost in every part of the city (Sarajevo, Bosnia)
The best thing about this town is that the airport is close and I can escape without too much bother.
The best thing about where I consider "home base" is the people. They are super nice and always helpful. I don't even dread going to the tag office, electric company, etc. because they are always friendly and helpful.

What is your favorite thing about Twilight (movie/book/both)?I'm not a fan of the Twilight series but my fiancee is and I know many other people that read all the books or made sure to buy all the movies (or both), but I just can't see what the appeal is and I'm curious to see what everyone's...
