Is it true that a working woman has to compromise with her dignity to be successful?
I don't think so. The workplace never compels anybody including the females to compromise their dignity, self-respect and rights for ensuring a successful career. In every democratic country, organizations now strive for equal opportunities to everybody irrespective of their gender, race or any other personal characteristic. But depending on local laws in some countries, abiding by the dress code may be an unwilling necessity. For example, I have heard that some countries do not permit Muslim Women to wear Hijab or a veil. But following these kinds of laws doesn't necessarily mean that one is going to compromise her dignity, because her dignity rests with her behavior, beliefs and actions.
