Try and learn to say "NO" and learn to delegate some work or responsibility to others if you have too much on your plate. Saying "NO" is okay at times especially if you got too much to do and others tend to pile some more on your plate. If you got too much to do, try and ask others to help you instead of doing them all by yourself then you get stressed out. If you do the cooking ask your husband or partner to do the washing up. That way, you don't do them all.
Find a method/pursuit that is relaxing and although it is significantly difficult, slow down and never be in a hurry or if you will, never be anxious. Although I am 18 for the 3rd time I still play ice hockey (between injuries) and enjoy my occupation immensely. This seems to significantly help in this regard.
