Support local farmers even if it means paying higher prices?
Personally, money is my concern, and although I'd like to support local companies, I have bills to pay as well. So I'd find the cheapest. And if it means my local big box grocery store, I'll go there.
I would rather eat less and support local farmers. Besides the produce is usually better than those found in big box.
Local food tastes so much better. It's so much more fresh and the flavors are amazing. That being said, I agree with you as much as I hate to admit it. I want to support local everything but my husband and I have a one year old daughter and saving for her is the priority even if it means the food my husband and I eat isn't as good.
