How am I getting a negative eBay earning? This has happened more than once.
If you are selling items and having profit margins that don't cover selling fees, you can have a negative earning.
I can explain this. It has happened to me before. What happens is someone buys something from your ebay link, and then returns it. They have a 4 day period to decide whether or not to keep what was purchased. If they return something you can show a negative in earnings. This doesn't mean you're having money deducted from you, just that the previous earnings results are now no longer positive, but negative.
I had a day where I had made $900. Well, several items got returned so my earnings report was changed to something like -$700. I don't know why it was like that because I still got the $200 difference. It just was and it was very confusing to me too.
