Can a manager tell your co-workers that you have received disciplinary action?
I received a written warning, after a colleague complained that I had been disrespectful toward her. Then another colleague told me that the complaintant told her that she had been informed that I had received a written warning. Was it legal for management to share this information with the complainant? Also, at the time of the disciplinary meeting, I told the manager that I felt humiliated at receiving the warning. Thank you in advance for any advice.
