100 Hubs in 2 weeks My Hubpages Writing Venture

Updated on November 29, 2010

Time to get back to Hubpages

With the busy workload that I have had lately, I have decided to challenge myself to writing 100 hubs here on hubpages in two weeks’ time. For me this is very challenging because my time is being spread out through my Marketing Business, Freelance Work and Family.

When I first started writing on hubpages I found it one of the easiest ways to be able to say what I wanted through words or voice my opinions on products, services and everyday life experiences. I have read some interesting hubs here, have written some interesting hubs here and lately just haven’t had the time to do what I really love which is writing here or conversing with many interesting people.

My Personal Challenge

The challenge of writing 100 hubs is a very personal challenge because I write every day and have found myself catching the bug of writers block. The way to rid myself of writers block is to relax from my other jobs for at least two weeks and venture back into writing on any subject that comes to me throughout my time off.

Have you ever found it much easier to write when your mind is clear of a majority of your commitments? Many ideas come to me when I’m not really thinking of anything but total relaxation and there have been times when I would go to sleep waking up from dreams on subjects that I just had to get up in the middle of the night to take notes of.

Writing Is My Passion

I have been writing since I was a child in maybe the second or third grade, things like poetry, stage plays, and greeting cards so yes I was a very smart child and it’s natural that I would have gotten into this field of work as an adult.

I find hubpages to be one of the best websites if you love to write, and I have made lots of money from Google AdSense as I’m sure many people have but for me it’s not all about making money here on hubpages with Google AdSense, it’s more like my own personal space or diary to reach people and make them laugh, cry, aware of products or services and even sometimes angry. It’s all about emotions because one day I could be writing about how to make money for affiliate marketers or home based business owners, but the next day or even later in the day I could change my conversational tone to write about movies, music, my kids or something else.

Are you writing just for profit?

If you ventured into writing on hubpages because you felt you just wanted to make money don’t be surprised if you find yourself not making that much money from your hubs at all because writing even if it’s your main source of income should also be your passion. Has anyone ever told you when you were young that you should look into becoming something that you love and a job shouldn’t be based entirely on a paycheck? Of course you won’t be a very good doctor if you hate helping others; you wouldn’t get many patients because your attitude would turn them away, well it’s the same thing with writing. Readers have a way of being able to tell if you’re a real person or just a phony trying to sell and earn, your writings have to be able to help or inspire them in some way, otherwise you won’t have to worry about them returning to read your writings anytime soon.

Join me on my venture

Now I know the 100 hubs in two weeks are going to be a stretch but I’m feeling I can do this with no problems. You’re going to read about what I’ve been doing off hubpages, my family, and everything I feel I can share with the hubpages community and I’m even going to introduce you to our almost two month old baby girl who is such a funny character.

Maybe you want to join me on my 100 hubs in two weeks venture, we could give each other topics or do things to make it even more enjoyable, I really don’t mind and would love the company…..let me know.

UpDate

I am slowly moving along on my 100 hubs in two weeks venture, was very busy during the thanksgiving holiday and black friday shopping so that means i have lots of catching up to do. Anyway, I hope you all have had a very happy thanksgiving and that the black friday shopping wasnt to rough with the long waits and lines, also that you picked up a lot of christmas present deals as I did.

Previous Comments are 3-15 months ago. Have you dropped out? decided it wasn't worth your time to regularly publish, or what? You had good goals back then.

I would love to join you on your venture but I dont know if I have the time right now. But I would love to keep in touch and interact in your hubs in the next 2 weeks. Perhaps we could come up with a few extra ideas for hub topics.
