Part 3: 101 Ideas for Article Topics on Hub Pages

Updated on June 15, 2012

This is the third installment in the series of 101 Article Topics on Hub Pages covering topics such as musical hubs and parenting hubs. If one of these topics sparks a hub idea write it down immediately. You may not end up using it today, this week, or even this month, but it's so easy to forget great ideas if they are not written down for future reference.

Music History:

Musician Biographies:

Learn an Instrument: Many people spend hours on Google finding sites that teach a person how to play an instrument. Creating multiple hubs on this topic can have great benefits and repeat visitors.

Music Theory:

News and Politics

Current Affairs: With current affairs, you'll never be short of topics to create a hub on. Just remember, that there will be plenty of news articles out there, so try to make yours different.

Political Issues: Current World News Stories

Parenting & Kids

Kids Party Ideas: Have you held your fair share of kids birthday parties? Use this experience to create a hub helping parents to organize their child's party.

School Holidays: Are you a pro at keeping your kids happy and entertained during the school holidays? Share your secrets with other parents.

Spotlight on A Local Hero: Do you know someone who is a pretty special person? Maybe the local baker who always makes extra bread to take to the local shelter, or perhaps even someone in your family? Everyone is special in their own way and writing about someone who is not in the public eye can be so much more rewarding - and a better read too!

Famous People in History: There are countless historical figures that work make a great subject matter for a hub.

Pop Culture & Celebs

Current Fashion Trends: Current 'in' Television Shows: Television shows always make good subject matters for a hub. More so, if the show is currently rating high. After the finale of Lost, hundreds of articles and blog posts covering it were published!

Niche Merchandising: There are always new movies coming out and bands going on major tours. This results in plenty of Google searching for matching merchandise.

Religion & Spirituality

Spiritual Book Reviews: Have you read a book that has left an impact on you? The greatest way to honor that is to write a review on it.

Spirituality /Religion History: Figures in History

SEO & Affiliate Marketing

SEO Tips:Do you you consider yourself pretty good at search engine optimization? Share you tips, tricks and techniques in a hub! Whether your hub is focused on a Hub Page hub or on websites in general, it will be bound to be a useful read.

SEO Tools: Share your proven resources and SEO tools in a hub

Online Shopping Site Profiles: Shopping Guides: People turn to Google when they need advice for buying anything from simple groceries to the big ticket items. If you are an expert in anything that can be purchased, write a guide for it. Some ideas are digital SLRS, scrapbooking supplies, motherboards - I could go on and on!

Sports & Recreation

Sports Team Profile: Write a profile on a sports team! It could either be a well known team or the lesser knows local teams.

Sports For Beginners: I'll admit I know next-to-nothing on sports. A hub covering the basics on different sports would be very useful for me and the other sporty-challenged people out there!

Travel Guides: Have you been on a holiday recently? You could write about your experience. A fun way of doing this is to break the hub down like a journal. You could have subheadings such as day one, day two and get into the nitty gritty such about where you stayed and visited and what you would have changed and what you would do again. Photographs are pretty useful for this type of hub.

Video Games

Game Reviews:

New Game Releases:

Top 10 Video Game Lists: These lists can be niche driven, such as Top 10 Action Games, Top 10 Mystery Games Top 10 Movie Spin-Off Games These hubs can also be updated as new games are released.

Work at Home

Online Internet Business: This is a biggie. The trick is to write informative, resourceful hubs and not ones that are purely promoting, for lack of a better work, pyramid schemes.

Working at Home Tips: Working at home is tough, especially if it is your only source of income. If you know of any tips that has made your working life at home easier, share them in a hub..

Niche Volunteering Opportunities: Do you volunteer in a specific niche area? A hub can be a great way to gain recruits and/or raise awareness of all the different types of charity organisations.

Volunteering for Beginners: Many people want to volunteer but don't know how to get started. A hub depicting what it takes to become involved in volunteer work and the steps a person needs to take would be a great read.

Website Confetti, Thanks for sharing a very worthwhile hub. Many people are having trouble due to worldwide economic stagnancy. So I believe when you put out a great list this to help someone along - it is especially thoughtful. Voted up and useful!
