    I will answer this question from my experience.  To me accolades are presented depending on the amount of work you put. No. Its definitely not after period of time.I think its presented automatically but depending on your effort.  i dont bother a lot  about it. i just keep publishing and I live it to he HP team to surprise me. A nice feeling every-time you see a new one added to your status. Its gives me more motivation to write and publish more hubs apart from the earnings.

    LOL, just be patient the web servers aren't that quick with everything, it takes hours for the Accolades to register and display themselves.  Patience is one of many the keys to success on hubpages for sure, besides all the activeness it requires to gain such accolades.

    It should happen in less than a day, although it depends upon the type of accolade. Total views include your own views. But your own views do not count in regards to number of times your hubs have been viewed. And an accolade like hub of the day has to be added by the staff, so you have to wait over weekends and statuary holidays. Others like the number of questions you answer  - the one you mentioned - happen almost within the hour.

    You get to see the accolades you earn within one hour to 24 hours most of the time. Wish you well with the Accolades.Hope you get your Accolades sooner than soon smile
