   Tom has rolled out new accolades for winners of HubNugget and 2011 Hubbie Award winners!
   
   You might have read a little about this in Simone's lede in this week's newsletter.

               I ask because when I was only two months old on this site, just getting started on HubPages, one of my hubs was nominated. I was absolutely thrilled. It certainly gave me a big boost. It also encouraged me to learn, and expand my horizons as an online writer. I must admit I was looking forward to seeing the accolade on my profile.
               Unfortunately, my hub won in September '09, so I am not eligible for the HubNuggets accolade.
               ...so I was wondering if there was a reason particular that cutoff date was chosen.

                     Having been a Hub Nugget like several others outside of these dates, I'm sure we all feel that awarding anything retrospectively, should mean that in fairness to the spirit of the comp, ALL Winners from the inception of the comp should be rewarded.
                     
                     When will the designing of the Forum accolades be complete?  Weren't they were announced nearly a year ago?

      Actually, our illustrious designer James (jamestedmondson) designed them. Tom was the guy engineering their display behind the scenes.

         I've never won one.  I'm not even sure what a hub nugget is - but I've got a friend who did win one over a year ago....so I thought I might mention it to her if I knew.

    When I see one of these on a hub, I find myself hovering over it and wondering what hub it represents. I suppose it might be difficult to have it display that in some way. Rarely does an author mention it on the profile page.
