    I've heard it's nine months but for some it's less and for others it's more.  It all depends on how well you write, how many people read your work, and how much you write.  Money comes slowly but builds with time.  You just have to be patient.

    Over the last six years, times to making the minimum payout have gotten longer, and it now takes more Hubs of higher quality to do so too.  I have a Hub where I collect self-reported stats, and a majority of people say they make less than $10 per month.  As near as can be guesstimated post-Panda and post-Penguin, your average Hub author will make their first payout sometime between 9 and 18 months.

      I checked that link relache, of the voted, 65% make less than $10 p/m, i guess we'll have to write more with more quality. Thanks
