Help - I need motivation to write. I have plenty ideas but just can't seem to write them down.

I would love to be able to write at least one quality hub each week like many of you guys on here

I am still struggling with this motivation thing myself! I love writing but using the little bit of spare time I have to do it, doesn't seem to happen often.  One thing I did was start a folder on my computer just for Hubpages, and in there I started a list brainstorming a LOT of different potential Hub topics (maybe 50 or so), this way when I have both the time and the motivation to write, I have no excuse but to sit down and do so.  Another thing that I'm trying and hope will help me soon, is to simply view writing here as my part time job - that is set a schedule and specific goals and stick to it.  I sat down last evening, figured out what my schedule looked like for the week, then put down a few goals for each evening to help me get started with writing more dedicatedly.  Another thing to keep in mind, is that you might have a lot of motivation one day, and want to sit down and write three or four articles! That's okay too, and there's nothing saying you have to publish all of them immediately.  You could get the juices flowing and start the writing when motivation hits, then slowly revise and publish them over the next couple weeks.

Sorry Elle Bee i have been off line for the last week. Many thanks for the advice - I have started the folder as you suggested and I'm adding pieces of research as I go. Hopefully you will see more hubs from me soon!!!

Bobby, do you mean writing down the IDEAs or writing the actual hub?  There's a difference. I have several file folders, both paper and on my computer, where I put ideas for hubs and blog posts.  I have other projects at the moment that take priority over writing online, but writing down at least a snippet of a piece is better than writing nothing at all.  Good luck! ;D

Sorry Jama Genee I have been offline for the last week. I have loads of ideas (I've just had a baby which is a major life change!). I just struggle with completing the research to turn the ideas into an actual hub. Many thanks for your advice smile
