Why do I keep getting the same message from the moderators, even after I have fixed the problem?
I have been trying to publish a hub on how to make money with Solavei. It is a product I can sell. The moderators keep telling me that the picture is pixelated and that it is overly promotional. I rewrote it many times and took out any link. I changed the picture 4 or 5 times now and keep getting the same message. I have seen other hubs with links to their own website where you can buy the product the author describes from the author him/her self. Does Hubpages not like me or something?
Hello Insightful Tiger. I do not have an answer. However, I can offer this link to the learning center for consideration.

Sharing from experience I discovered both of those moderated messages at least once or more. The picture pixelated can be discovered here at this link.

Once a picture I used was deemed pixalated due to the quality of the image. What was odd, is on a learning expedition I looked real hard at the image I was using. Even though I got it from reliable source, and I followed the attribution rules, and I relied on that sites rules, I discovered something. The pixelation was caused by a well hidden watermark. Apparently it had sneaked passed that sites moderation.
Regarding overly promotional I use to just count words thinking I had enough to put up Amazon Capsules and Ebay capsules. I am not an expert, yet what I gleaned from that experience was interesting. Even though I had a bunch of words they were not subject orientated to what was promoted with affiliate links. There is a minimum requirement.
Not sure if that helps or not. Also consider the 'what' of promotional. If one is promoting the website then the content is to be of the website. If one is promoting the item then the content is to be of the product.
And, welcome to Hubpages. Believe me hubpages does like you. If they didn't like you they would not have sent a message. Remember sometimes the source of moderation is not a set of human eyes. If after reviewing those links and there is still some unanswered questions drop them a line. 'Explain' why you believe you have complied. There really is only a few moderators, so allow for patience with receiving a response. And, remember the adage 'pay it forward' by helping them help you with information.
Remember, Insightful Tiger, I am not an expert other than from the experience I have encountered. I am curious about that phone program.

... administer the forums?I asked a similar question in a poll in a recent Hub and though I had many views I didn't get many votes. Now I wonder are people afraid of the consequences if they post their votes or their views?

I posted a photo hub and had all positive responses to a photo that I took with my cellphone. The image is clear and has my own 'copyright' mark on the picture. I am shocked that someone would actually say this image is 'not up to standard' as it has since been featured on other sites and repined...

I am surprised. I yesterday posted this topic 'Can Science explain everything?'. This hubber came out and gave me some answers. Now as I have provided him some reasons, he hot hurt and started to post nasty personal attacks. He said this to me, I quote: "This is why religious people such as...

I was just wondering why foul language (obscene language, profanity, cursing, swearing, expletives, bad words, dirty words) is being tolerated in certain cases, and in the case of certain individuals. It is especially embarrassing when it comes from a woman. Should she not be counselled by a...

In the past many Hubbers, including myself, have seen the "Report a Problem" or "Need Help" threads as a way to either get a policy explained, or as a way to escalate an urgent problem when emails weren't eliciting a response. It is now obvious that is no longer the case,...
