Unpublished Hub
I wrote an article about how to buy products to sell from home. Two days later it was unpublished saying I had prohibited websites. which only to worldwide brands. I have been getting automated responses and not by a real human. Are we not allowed to have links to worldwide brands. I have asked this question several times to the team and I have yet to get a real response which it has been over a week. Also, it said my article was overly promotional. I only have two links in the article, period. Is it this frustrating to publish a hub. I'm frustrated.
It's difficult to give a helpful answer without knowing more details. When you say worldwide brands, I'm assuming you mean "household" brands like Coke, McDonald's, Tide, etc. that everyone would recognize? I'm not sure why it would be necessary to link to those, though.
I can't say this is what's going on as I'm not privy to the inner workings of HubPages, but as a content reader I tend to come across 2 major types of links. The first kind are helpful links that direct readers to helpful sites or brands that provide high quality products and services that are discussed in the article. They are used to give readers a starting point, and are supplementary to the article. Then there are links that are so promotional that the article is supplementary to the link. I would assume that the latter type of linking is likely to be viewed as overly promotional, so that may be something to consider.
Assuming that the articles are up-to-standard quality-wise in all other respects, I would recommend focusing on making sure that the links exist to enhance the Hub instead of vice-versa. Best of luck!
This article is about finding wholesale products to sell from home. Worldwide brands with a database of wholesalers and dropshippers to assist you with finding a product your can market.

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery. What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?

I just posted a question about this. But now I am really upset. I wrote a hub about my Halloween costume box, and the memories.. All the pics and story were my own. I want to know why hubpages unpublished it. I found this out when I posted my hubpage article on another site. I spent a lot of time...

I'm not even sure what that means. I have almost no links on anything, only 1 even has an amazon capsule, and I don't even know how to "keystuff" (it was listed on possible promotional items list). A friend told me maybe they think my content is generated by A.I. Well, it's not. I...
