Feel free to plug any hubs you have written on the topic.

Just write, write, and write my friend. I wrote a hub on Google Adsense if you would like to take a look:

You have to write quality hubs, sure, but you also have to promote them (without spamming).  I create a Pinterest friendly graphic for all of my hubs and share that way.  I also search engine optimize my hubs with good subtitles and as I write, I think about what would a person be searching for specifically when they need the information I am sharing? That helps with creating hubs that are very search engine friendly and likely to rank high.  It's about social media, promotion, and writing in such a way that people can find what you are writing about.

Great tips! I like to add keyword research. Come up with an enticing topic and decide what title to use by looking for related keywords with high monthly views and low competition which can be done using the Google Adwords Keyword tool.

Thank you christinS.  I am a new Hubber and I  want to earn money doing so.  I know I need to work on my social medial and self promotion.  I will explore the Pinterest.  I have not yet delved into Pinterest.  Thank you for the post! Tracie

I have gotten a HubPages Ad Program payout every month for the last five months. I don't really promote except on Facebook and Pinterest, but I have published several Hubs that perform very well. Unfortunately, there's no rhyme or reason to it, and they are all on different subjects. Just write and try to duplicate your successes.

Write good quality engaging hubs about topics people are interested. Really research your title. Don't write hubs that are just general information, people don't tend to want to read common sense or stuff they already know. If it does not add something new then they are more likely to bounce.

Doing a sitemap helped my traffic. Promoting can help, but most of my money making hubs didn't need promotion. With good titles and writing about things I knew a lot about I was able to capture a niche audience.
