Is there a way to stop someone making irrelevant rambling comments on my hub?
I keep denying them and deleting them forever but this person just puts them back on within minutes. They don't relate to the hub in any way and just ramble on about religion and technical stuff.
You can report the issue to HubPages and they may be able to block the person by IP address. you can also change you comments settings so that they have to be approved by you first. Good luck, sorry you have to deal with that aggravation.
You can also edit the hub and remove the comments option section from this particular hub.
You don't have to approve any of the comments by that person and hopefully they will get the hint. You can also e-mail the staff and make them aware of the situation.
There has been a person who has been stalking the hubpages writers by adding on a new username each day. I'm wondering if this same person might be doing you in with your hubs. You can always just deny their comment. Also, you can put them on your blacklist for you not recommending that person and let the HP team know.
yes ..you can disapprove comment, simply delete irrelevant rambling comments
You need not have to approve them also you can complaint about it to the hubpages team.
Something similar happened to me on a hub. The fellow hubber commented a couple times off topic. I didn't delete but politely answered each time. After about the third exchange, I very nicely said something to the effect of I'd really prefer that comments pertain to the hub only and that I enjoyed the little chat. He stopped. Sounds like this person on your hub may have an issue with your content? Have you tried addressing it with him? I hope it works out for you.
'He' barely mentioned my content at all Jan. A sentence but not derogatory then ramblings in a religious vein about Muslims & a lot of unconnected psychobabble. Anyway been quiet for a couple of days so I'm hoping he's run out of steam because of

I am not looking to name names here as this happens quite a lot on Hubpages, but can someone please clarify whether or not it is against the rules for a Hubber to come to your hub, leave a comment and then include a link to one of their own hubs as a part of that comment. I know it says under each...

I hope Robin will come by and comment on this one. I have been going through all of my old comments and deleting any that don't add anything to the conversation, but some of my hubs have a ton of very useful and informative comments. I don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. What makes...

I made two hubs and both were rejected -I can understand that. What I do want to know is if the site can make money for me, and if so, how can I do it?
