How can i know if I have voted for an answer?
Sometimes I get an email indicating that someone has answered a request. I read the answer and vote. But sometimes the computer times out. Then, sometimes I read all the answers and vote. Some change the number and others do not. Okay we forget; but a lot of times I know from the answer that I have not voted for it.Is there a way to know like the vote arrow changing to a different colour after voting? The different hue will signal you have voted.

Why do you vote down an answer?I thought the purpose of voting down an answer was to get it removed because it is in bad taste. I have seen some perfectly good answers, however, voted down. Maybe I misunderstood the purpose. Why do YOU vote down an answer? And do you vote down hubs as well?
