Within our stats we have a red c in a circle to highlight a copied hub plus a "copied hubs" section.
I have three "persistent" offenders that have not yet removed my copied work and if I go to those hubs they also have "this work may be copied etc" at the top and if I click I am told what the sites are. They also are listed when I click the "copied hubs" menu.
Several other hubs have the red c but do not appear in my "copied hubs" report..
Some have the "this work may be copied etc." message at the top but no data if you click..
Others do not have any message at the top, do not appear in the copied menu but have the red c..
If I search manually some are copied and some are not! but they all have the red c - but no information in the "copied hubs" menu..
I hope that made sense!
If you look at your copied hubs report under "Last Checked", what does it say. I have a few still in my report that I had removed months ago, but but HP hasn't checked them since December 19, so they're still shown as copied.
I think I see what you are talking about.
I reran the dupe checked on some of them, so there are a few Hubs now that will not show the warning in while editing that did before.
I'm going to look at this in more detail later and see if I can find out info to send to our engineers so they can fix any potential problems.
Perhaps we just need to add a mechanism to allow users to recheck for dupes? Would that be useful?

I really like this feature that HP uses to track whether our Hubs have been copied. Don't know how they do it or how it works, but I truly appreciate it. I saw the little C mark by one of my Hubs so checked on it and, from what I can tell from the Copied Hubs screen, the offending copy was remove...

All the little copyright tags have disappeared from my hubs, except for the one that is a duplicate that I have elsewhere. Of course, that doesn't mean there are still copies out there but it feels good for a bit.

I notice that on the "copied Hubs" page, there's a column for "removed". I've never seen any Hub with an entry in that "removed" column and there seems to be no way to mark a copy as "removed". Is there meant to be?It would be an awesome...

I have quite a few notices of copied hubs. Quite a few of them have been removed after sending DMCA notices. Others have also been removed over time, probably due to other people's efforts. Yet they still appear as copied hubs. Is there any way that we can delete these...

I just found a site that has some of my hubs on some other writer's hubs. It looks like it is all scraped content to me. http://www.toknowthings. com/

I know it's been brought up a few times, but I can't remember a comment from HubPages. Is there anyway that we can get the Copied Hubs section updated? Once the copied pages are removed, they remain. Yes, we can delete the link, but the title remains forever, making it hard to see what is what on a...
