HubPages Cannot connect to Paypal account (even for good Paypal acct)

    I am trying to associate my Paypal Account with my HubPages account and every time I click on the "Associate Paypal Account", I get a pop up box from Hubpages that says,

    The pages at http://hubpages.com says:
    We're sorry but we are unable to connect to Paypal at this time. Please try again later.

    I've tried several times and signed off and back on to try. What's going on here?

      Sorry to hear about the issue you are having associating your PayPal account with your profile.

      Are you still having the same problem?

      It appears you are using Chrome 20 in Windows Vista.
      Does the problem persist using Firefox?
      You may also want to update Chrome as version 21 is now available.

    Several bugs, glitches, server problems are happening at the moment. It may be best to just wait and try back in a few hours - or even later.

      Thanks Agicionada - Let's hope that's all it is. But if anyone else has encountered this before, I'd love to hear their resolution.

    Matthew - Thanks but I tried later in the evening and it went through. I always love it when a problem just magically fixes itself smile- Your idea about trying a different browser is probably a good one to try if anyone else encounters this. And I'll look into the Chrome update too! Thanks Again - Joleen
