After a brief look, BO.LT seems to be a pin board similar to Pinterest, the main difference being that you can bookmark anything on this website not just pictures. However, BO.LT seems to copy the webpages that you bookmark, including Hubs. My question is: does this create duplicate content?
I've found Hubs on BO.LT.
It is dup content. Once its on another site, it needs to be taken down, OR, the Hub needs to be deleted.
Hubs on HubPages are to be single, unique entities on the site and not found in any other place on the internet.
Is it dup content though?
I had a look at some of the hubs shown in search using Haunty's link, and when I right-click and choose 'view source' it seems I am seeing HP's Adsense account number in there, so the content isn't duplicated, but rather re-directed in some way back to the original.
All the links in the related hubs section seem to go directly to the hubs featured there too.
By the way, some of the hubs promoted over there are dreadful - no wonder the authors felt the need to create artificial backlinks!
@IzzyM- Did you notice that when you look at the hubs that it shows you as not being signed into HubPages? When I clicked on the related links, it shows me as being signed in again.
That made me suspicious (I'm always suspicious of these kind of sites though!) I Googled the first paragraph of one of the hubs and got this result:
I really hope you can see it, the forum photos are always so darn small.
It's duplicate content. I really hope no one tries to sign in using one of those pages.
I clicked on this thread to find out what B.O.L.T is! Now I know I don't think I will bother with it!

I am starting to learn how to social bookmark. I've been doing it on twitter, facebook, igoogle, digg, delicious, diigo, my blogs, pingomatic and a few other places. I have only been doing it on some of these sites for the last four or five days. It probably takes a while to see...

I don't suppose I'm the only person wondering what happens if the machinations - automated or otherwise - lead to HubPages having a much REDUCED income stream from Amazon.Make no mistake - as Google Adsense income dives (which it has been doing consistently for months) - income from Amazon modules...

I was wondering how often a hub should be social bookmarked and if my internet history is deleted i do not know which hubs I bookmarked. I don't want to be considered a spammer. How many hubs do you guys bookmark at a given time and do you usually bookmark the low traffic or high or?

I can see a lot of hubs on the same subject that I am writing about and they haven't been flagged as adult content. There are hubs on sex and male enlargement, so why is mine being flagged, at first I was flagged for overly promotion and I fixed that, now another flag for adult content??? COMMON! I...

With so much theft of my content recently, maybe I am paranoid, but I have to ask. In the last few days, I have had a huge increase in new followers. These new followers have either 0 hubs or 0 featured hubs. The profile pages are either blank or advertising something. ...

I decided not to leave hubpages but since my traffic was split in half several months ago it seems as if my subdomain is struggling to get back up.We all know that Google, the internet master, prefers niches sites over content farms (sites with multiple subjects). Given the newest update and...
