The forum thread I am referring to is at http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/100457
I get the following error message when I try to reply to the last post in this forum that I started for the purpose of reporting a bug with the new profile...
"Please note that forum posts that promote your own Hub will be deleted and may result in the closing of your HubPages account."
However, I never promote my own hubs in forums. The only link I placed there was to a forum discussion I had with Jason Menayan to show what I was taking about. I wonder if that was inadvertently taken as self promotion.
@Glenn Are you still experiencing this issue?
Hi Matt, After several days I was again able to reply as you can see in that thread. So whatever the problem was, it was resolved.
HOWEVER, none of the staff ever replied to the issues in that thread, which I started in the "Bug Report Forum." Then someone moved th e thread over to the "Suggestion Forum."
I did notice that after a few days the first bug was fixed, but not the other, as outlined in my last reply/post at http://hubpages.com/forum/post/2177031
I can imagine how busy everyone is with all the latest changes, and I am not surprised that no one had a chance to follow up since Micki last assured me that it would be fixed before releasing the new profile layout. So I am glad you found this lost thread at this time and I look forward to the final problem being fixed as mentioned in the forum other thread where my replies were disabled for awhile.
Thanks for following up.

Some of us are encountering an issue in the forum. On the front page, it will indicate that responses have been made since we last participated in a thread, but when we click on the name of the most recent respondent, rather than being taken to that response, we come to the start of the last page...

Hey everyone,If you look at the HubPages homepage while you’re signed in, you’ll notice quite a change: we’ve moved to a Feed-centric layout (you’ll also notice that the Feed is no longer visible in the header), and made some simplifications to the interface. Kudos to Fawntia who built this great...

This has been perplexing me for a while - has something changed or have I just gone ga-ga?Being in a different time zone from most Hubbers, I rely on being able to click the "Your" button to catch up with who's posted on threads since I commented.Recently I've been missing comments...

Hi,A little bird told me that HubPages are considering charging Forum Users for the amount of space that they take up when they reply to Forum posts, and quote screen after screen of someone elses comments above their own one line contributions. This makes the forums very hard to read, as it's hard...

There are a lot of us who haven't been feeling safe on the forums. They've felt stalked, harassed and browbeaten.Sadly, some folks go with the letter of the law, but not the spirit of it in their posts. For an excellent post on why we need Forum Moderators, check out what Makingamark says here...

This is a problem I encounter on Mac OS running Safari, iThings running IOS6, and Windows Phone 8. As I work my way down a thread, I can click the 'Reply' link only to a certain level. As the thread goes deeper, the 'Reply' link disappears, yet plainly there are those who are able to continue reply...
