What kind of shrub is this? It has dark red berries:What type of mushroom/fungus is this? It's about a foot across:Thanks for any help!
The first looks like a Yew bush. The second might be a type of shelf mushroom, but they usually grow on tree stumps or fallen logs.
The mushroom has a thick stem/stalk.Are yew berries poisonous? I ate a couple of these berries when I was a kid, and they didn't make me ill. They were sweet.
It's called the opee plant.
The flesh is edible, but the seed coating is poisonous, as is yew foliage.

As we have Keralites and Bengali tantriks in India... are there any such equivalent occult science specialists, in the western countries? If yes, how effective are they?
