Hi I'm new here! I used to write on Helium for a bit but wanted something new,I found hubs and thought I would give it a go. I already like the comment features, it seems like the community is really friendly as well.
Looking forward to reading some of your hubs later!
Welcome, nightnight! Have a great time hubbing and enjoy the community. It's a very friendly and helpful place.
Thanks for the reply! I was actually wondering something.... Is it like Helium do you get paid for page views or not?
Welcome to HubPages! Good luck with your writing! To earn $ on HubPages you will need to sign up for the Adsense program. Here is a link to more information in the learning center about Adsense that you might want to take a look at: http://hubpages.com/_2to9kdoh435y2/lear … up-AdSense
I apologize for not responding to your question, nightnight! I don't follow the forums as closely as I should when I post a comment in a thread. Thankfully, MTC gave you some great info. Welcome again, and sorry.
Hi back nightnight and welcome from another newcomer. I was blogging (3 blogs) for years and I still do, but Hubpages has become my passion. Much more freedom to write what I want, the community is great (except when they devolve into political discussions, lol), and I like all the positive feedback here. We'll see if I burn out, but so far I have a list of over 20 topics in mind right now. Looking forward to reading your hubs.
Hi nightnight and welcome to this great community.
I've started writing here nine months ago and, as you will read everywhere on the site, I can confirm that it takes a while before you can reach the payout sum of $50.
The key to that is keeping writing quality stuff, and reading all the good info in the learning center. Don't get discouraged by the initial low numbers.
Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone I look forward to reading all of your hubs as well.

I joined HubPages in 2011 but decided to leave 10 months in to re-start my own blog, and migrated all my content over to Wordpress. I was doing very well on HubPages, head got big, and I thought I could do better on my own. The reality is, I still could, but I think you get more with a platform...

Hi All,Just wanted to give a heads up that I carefully prepared and edited 10 of my hubs, as per the instructions then applied for Adsense and I was soundly rejected the next day. I don't pretend to be the greatest writer but I am confident in my writing skills and reading appeal for the subjects I...

Hello there fellow Hubbers, I am brand new to the site and have two hubs published and waiting on a third to get accepted. These honestly are my first time writing publicly. I have never done anything like this online so this is a huge learning curve for me. I plan to spend a lot...
