On the Eve of 300 Fans

   This is a heart-felt message to the wonderful people who have decided to make HubPages a venue for their words, and to those who have decided to be a fan of mine.
   
   There is excitement here at HubPages.  There are great talent, imagination, and commitment. I thank each and every one of you who have become my fan.  I follow you as best I can.  Sometimes, I'm not with the flow.  You all know what I mean, especially those of you who have many more fans than I.
   
   I have 299 fans now.  And I am thrilled.  I plan to be here for a long time...writing, reading, listening, learning.

    You folks are all fantastic.  What a warm feeling you gave me when I logged in this morning.
    
    Misty, I also thought we were fans of each other already.  Actually, we were, we just hadn't done the official thing.  I'm glad we have all that straightened out now.
    
    Ripplemaker, Misha, KerryG, and ZsuZsy, thank you always for your support and good words.  You and the many kind and talented Hubbers who encourage others in special ways are a very important reason that I remain here.
    
    Bhoge, I have become your fan as well, and I look forward to reading your Hubs.  I hope you enjoy this unique place as much as I do.
    
    Christoph, what can I say?  When I saw the official email message this morning that you had become a fan, I hadn't had a full cup of coffee yet, and I really did scratch my head in disbelief.  I was sure you had been a fan of mine all along.  Then when I read your new fan mail, I enjoyed a huge smile and a big laugh.  Renewing vows.  Wow.
