I thought we were not allowed to write hubs that promote our own businesses. Am I wrong?
You're right and you're wrong!
You can't write a Hub which is basically a press release, telling everyone how great your business is.
You can write Hubs related to the business you are in, and include a link to your company.
For instance, I write Hubs about flamenco. When I do, I include a link to my ebook and to my website. When I write Hubs about ballet, I include a link to my pointe shoe website. In Hubs about belly dance, I have links to my belly dance site. All of that is fine.
