I guestimate that I published my latest hub around 5 hours ago.
I just now discovered this under search:
"Pending
This Hub is undergoing our Quality Assessment Process, which usually takes 24 hours.
Last Crawl
Google
I wonder how Google found it?
Tough town the internet...
edit: And it wasn't through social media or my hub being displayed on my profile page hub list or carousel.
Your stats page has a link
Isn't it in the hub hopper already?
What about the round robin link setup for groups?
Did you interlink from any other hub?
I know analytics shows views to an "=done" hub - those that you just hit the publish button on. How? and is it transferred to the crawlers?
How about the "hubs" "comments" page?
Or in the "activity" section of the stats page or profile?
Lots of links for G to follow. At least if they're not all "no follow" - I don't know.
The good news, even though the noindex cat was out of the bag to Google for my last 3 or 4 hubs, they still got indexed within 24 hours of being featured. I think your post and my admission of still getting quick indexing have just killed my consulting fee.
Yep. You won't get that fee...although I might. What do you think?
Did you use WMT to request indexing or did it just happen by itself?
It's just been happening by itself. Bless Google's fuzzy, little hearts.
I don't know about blessing google (blessing then out, maybe) but that's a good thing.
Hah! I am 99% sure I figured out how!
Now HP and I just need to discuss my consulting fee...
Wow. You guys are really into this stuff. It is a new page in the anthropology text book.
I would assume that if you've got an Adsense account and one of your followers took a look at it, Google would suddenly know its there through that route. Could be wrong though.
HP thought of that one. No ads are displayed during pending.
lol If you just stick around, thinks will change from day to day. Bless you paradigmsearch, you keep me laughing all day long. You are a genius, and you are a troubleshooter, and you keep us posted and laughing. What more could we want?

I thought if a hubpage was listed in Google search it was featured. But apparently that is not the truth. I guess I will keep the hubs up and run my own check on them.

Your arrival has eclipsed a new feature that we were discussing in earnest when the merger was announced.HubberPro is a new feature. In a nutshell, HP has hired 7 excellent editors to help bring our hubs up to snuff. They will be doing fact checking, editorial corrections, updating images...

The purpose of this post is NOT to moan and groan, but rather to better understand it, by sharing your insight and experiences. Obviously we now have to work using its parameters. Stayin' Alive Ha Ha Ha
