If an article is total nonsense should it be flagged? Presumably articles on HubPages should be as factually correct as possible. I have flagged several articles today, several on the subject of electrical generators which can provide everlasting free power. Or are these pseudoscience articles just as valid as articles on astrology?
That's a hard call for me, too.
I don't generally flag them, thinking as you do that they are just as valuable as astrology or the thousands of conspiracy or bigfoot articles everywhere.
I would only flag if I found one that was actually dangerous and was very commonly accepted as such.
Everlasting generators which provide free power are a popular spam topic on the 'net in general, much like the ones about running your car on water.
Admin appreciates if you flag them.
If the goal if the hub seems to be to con people, I flag it.

I've been flagging these as duplicate content, since the entire body of a Hub should be more than just a copy/pasted news article. Does the duplicate content filter not check versus newspaper or other print media?

Why are some hubs flagged for substandard articles, and other hubs that are Plainly substandard andare not flagged? Ive seen articles with two paragraphs, or pictures only with one sentence, these articles have not been flagged for correction, so Id like to know what the real criteria is for...

I'm not familiar with the culture here on HubPages, but is it considered impolite to flag articles that are terrible? Or leave comments pointing out grievous errors?I noticed an article about bathing suits that had the phrase "bathing suite" all over the article and even in the title!!...
