It would be totally awesome if you could redesign the layout of the forums. I don't know why but the current layout irks me. The colors, the columns, the boxes....yucky!! And for whatever reason, I have to hit my back button every time I want to get back to the forums. It'd be nice to have links available to go back to where you started. I always have to use my back button and it's very annoying!!
Also, I know I've requested this before, but it'd be really great to be able to save hubs that you like.
Thanks for the suggestion, MissJamieD! I wouldn't mind a Forum styling update myself.
I'll bring this up in our community meeting today!
That said, I should say that we also have our hands full with some other pretty big updates (targeted at more than aesthetics: e.g. continuing to improve quality and improving Hubbers' earning potential), so it'll probably be a while before we have the leisure to turn our focus to aesthetic adjustments to the Forums.
Simone, have you or Paul E been able to give any more consideration to providing a regular update/roadmap type post on the forums on what the HP priorities are that coule be updates once every week or two?
I think that having something like that would really help to encourage trust in the community and HP in general as we'd have an idea of what might be coming down the pipe?
Well of course I will be patient. I realize that Hubpages is a large community and there are probably constant update ideas. I just wanted to throw that out there. I'm going to start school for programming pretty soon so maybe one day I can help out:) Just a dream of mine.

For me, there have been several things that have surprised me:1. I didn't expect HP to be so much work. Honestly, I came in expecting to churn out a few, quick hubs and make some money. But I quickly learned that in order to really work the system, you have to write detailed hubs and then go about...

My best hub for traffic has had near a 50% daily drop in views since the new layout went into effect. It is not at the most relevant time, but traffic had been rising. The date is obviously hurting this hub as people now believe this to be an old out dated hub for 2012, when the hub is all about...

Do you like the new hubpages layout?I know change is inevitable but I really don't like the new layout. The first page is plain and boring and it seems difficult to find things. When I looked up hubs under explore there were very few people I know..

I still think comments should be comments, not discussions, that is the purpose of a forum. Maybe it would be a good idea that every author has a forum automatically made in a widget on there profile page and the topics are always the title of the Hub. That way you can discuss it and always edit...

Very weird, but for the last few days the option to go back a page no longer works if I am currently on a forum and trying to leave it to return to a non-forum page I visited previously. In fact the best I seem to be able to achieve is to go back to the first page I entered the forum on, but not to...

I read both forum entries and answers/questions entries but the two features seem to overlap. Many of the questions asked in "answers" are technical questions asked by hubbers about HP. Some elicit long threads of answers just like in the forums. Since the "questions/answers"...
