I have joined stumble upon, and i really love it!!

But, how do i add my hubs to the site, so other people can stumble upon them?

You need to install their toolbar.  It can be downloaded at StumbleUpon.  Once you've done that, you can just add your hubs with the click of a button and filling in the relevant details about your hub.

SU has banned hubpages. We are no longer able to SU our Hubs.

Damn, everyone's ganging up on HubPages! Maybe it's our own fault...

Hmmm...I've not had any problems with SU and have been able to submit Hubs.

What happened when you tried to submit yours?

I don't know because I don't waste my time on Stumbleupon these days.  Stumblers never click on ads so they're of no value to me!  However, it's worth noting that sites like Stumbleupon, Digg, Reddit etc have terms and conditions that specifically prohibit promoting your own websites (including Hubs).  That's because the original intention of these sites was for people to highlight top quality sites by others, not their own stuff.

In practice, most people do it - but if you get caught, you can be banned.  Every now and then, you'll find sites banning entire communities like Helium or HubPages because too many users are self-promoting - but it doesn't last forever.

I don't know about anyone else, but not understanding their TOS, way back, I periodically showcased my own hubs on stumbleupon.  This was just a handful of hubs (over the course of a few months) and got banned for over promotion.  My thoughts are that it is for us to stumbleupon others, not ourselves?  I'd still like to know if I am right?

    Hi there

I stumble all my own hubs, usually say this is my own hub in my review. Of course my PC is acting up so it only happens sometimes. I also stumble any page I find that does not show I Like It. Sometimes a hub will stumble easily, other times not so much. I have yet to have an issue and SU is my second highest referring site to my own hubs besides other hubbers. Still working to crack the search engines and get outside traffic.

But don't overdo it. My stumbles of my HubPages don't take any more, I add them but they don't show up. I haven't stumbled that many of my hubs either.

I would avoid stumbling my own hubs completly. You should contact all of your friends on stumbleupon by email with a link back to your favorite hubs.

Once the toolbar is installed, click on the thumbs up.

I'm seeing lots of references to SU not showing Hubpages.  I've got one or two of mine on there.  Does SU pull them after awhile?

Are the other social bookmarking sites, like Delicious, Digg, Reddit, etc., doing this too?

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards

I have been having a problem with MIXX and Stumble.  Mixx is actuallly limiting the number of submission that you send to them.  Digg is much better because there is no limit on the submission however you are almost forced to read other Hubs because they always say that they suspect your work to be a duplicate.  Then you have to scroll down and of course stop and read an interesting Hub until you get to the bottom of the page where you have to swear that your work is original.  On Stumble, I am having a problem signing on so I am going to listen to the other hubbers comments and leave that site alone.  I am happy with copying the URL and posting to my blogspot site and then posting to Digg.  I am looking for other ways to promote and would appreciate any and all input.  www.merchandisingselections@blogspot.com Visit

Previously stumble used to accept hubpages. But from the last 2-3 day stumble is not accepting hubpages.

Strange! I don't understand why stumbleupon would ban or not accept your hubs. I bookmark my hubs in stumbleupon and get good traffic. Within the past 7 days I have got 150 visitors. My hubs have been accepted in the past 24hrs too and I am still getting traffic from Stumbleupon. There must be some other technical problem I guess.
